DR. M.G. ANNADTHURAI ‘s - SOCIAL SERVICE

DR. M.G. Annadthurai was born in 1943. Since 1970 he is doing many discoveries and wonders in medical field.In his Life savings about Rs.140 Lakhs were donated to public .  Few samples are:- At first he was an Athiest, but in 1967 Lord Thiru Muruga Perumal gave dharsana and blessed him spirituality. On that day, he started his service. In 1980 after facing many difficulties, he made a “Panchaloga vigraga” of 100 kgs and donated it to Thiru Murugar Temple at Kamarajar nagar, Ennore. In Thermal Power Station temple, at ETPS Quarters he established Durga Matha vikraha, Kumarsthava mantra stone and Raghu Kala Durga Ashtaka stone. In Nehru Nagar Vinayakar temple, he made prana prathista of Matha Durga’s statue. With the help of his devotees he established Navagraha vikrahas, Kumarasthava mantra stone in Vazhividu Muruga Temple at Ramanathpuram. He is of service motive. He helped the poor people for their marriages, by donating them mangalya sutras. In 1998 when he came to know that a youngster in cheiyar who continued his studies upto +2 by doing part-time work and who got first rant in Engineering entrance examination, could not join the college, due to lack of money, Shri. Annadurai donated him Rs.30, 000 for his studies on the Admission day. Afterwards Mr. Ramamurthy who is the head of Tamilnadu Rajiv Congress donated Rs.40, 000 for that student. By this incident all the political leaders came to know Mr. M.G. Annadthurai and his helping tendency towards the intelligent poor students.

FOUNDER'S SIMPLICITYSERVICE

He likes simplicity. For his daughter’s marriage he printed in the Invitation, “gifts are not accepted”. For his elder son he distributed invitations to only 35 members. For his younger son, he has taken alliance from a poor family and has conducted the marriage function at Thiruvottiyur temple without inviting others. On that occasion he gave vastra dhana to the Bangalore orphanage (Children depatriated from Srilanka) spending 35,000. For each and every ceremonies he used to donate huge amount for such institutions.

He is conducting free training in Alternative therapy for so many female students at Shri Sai Balaji Institution at Royapuram, from 1995 – 2002. Mr. Achutananda, a devotee of Shri Satya Saibaba, runs this Institution. He also gives free treatment for the public daily.

SERVICE'S IN MEDICAL FIELDIN SPRITUAL

For the benefits of practitioners of medicine, medical students and patients with uncurable diseases, he constructed the samadi temple of Shiva Siddhar Shri Mahan Pate Sahib between vizhupuram to Pondichery near Kandamangalam, where the Mahatma became Jeeva Samadhi at Chinnababu Samudram, spending Rs.16 lakhs on 6-12-2000. Till this day he is doing great service in many ways to the public with courtesy.

Every month, he is donating many thousands to Orphanages. On 30-1-2001 he donated Rs.1 lakh for Gujarat earthquake relief fund. He is doing many Research works in Alternative Therapy. On 3-1-2005 he donated Rs.1.5 lakhs for Tsunami relief Fund which was published in “INDIAN EXPRESS” & DINAMANI” dated:03-01-2005.

  • He adopted +2 passed two helpless orphan childrens for the complete education upto M.B.B.S. and B.Tech from 2002.
  • Chennai Thiruvotriyur for Arivu Thirukkovil ( Vazhga Valamudan ) he donated Rs.50,000/- ( 2002 )
  • Chennai Thiurvotriyur Vivekananda Junior College Development donated Rs.50,000/- on 28.01.2003.
  • Thanjavur District affected Farmers Fund through Ramakrishna Mutt donated Rs.50,000/-
  • Ramakrishna Mutt youth Welfare for Rs. 1 Lakh on 12.01.2007
  • Renovated Ranganathar Temple in Devadanam village near Ponneri Minjur for Rs.12.3 Lakhs on 06.01.2007.
  • Donated Invertor cost Rs.8500/- to Vazhuvoor Attaveerattaneswarar temple on 06.03.2008.
  • National youth day celabration in Ramakrishna Mutt for Rs.27,500/- on 07.10.2009.
  • Donated Rs.1 lakh in State Book bank for very poor college students in Thiruvottiyur on 06.08.2010.
  • Donated Rs.30,000/- for children’s uniform in Sharadha Aashramam near Ulundurpet on 04.12.2010. and Rs.20,000/- on 10.11.2011.
  • From August 2011 onwards an amount of Rs.13,000/- per month is being donated by him to provide free food daily to the street side children through Vallalar Dharmasala at Amsa Garden, Thiruvotriyur.
  • A donation of Rs.3 lakhs was given for the Children’s Hospital at Sri Ramakrishna Mutt, Natrampalli on 10.10.2012.
  • A donation Rs.2 Lakhs to Selva Vinayagar Temple at Jeevanlal Nagar Thiruvotriyur. 30.07.2014.
